Manarola in Cinque Terre, Italy is one of the 5 towns of this region, accessed by rail or ferry. We visited in winter when the crowds weren't too crazy, thankfully! The towns are a photographers dream, and I spent the day wandering, looking for the perfect spot. We waited and waited and got a beautiful sunset, however I kept shooting through until the lights in the town came on. I preferred the blue hour shot over the sunset shot for once! We rushed to catch the last train after I decided enough was enough.

In the ever busy Plitvice National Park, within Croatia, this amazing view captures the edge of the lake, with an autumn tree flowing over the path. I imagined this piece as a veil of leaves obscuring your view of an epic reflection.

In the ever busy Plitvice National Park, within Croatia, the Galovac waterfall is the true gem of the park. Ringed by a busy boardwalk, this one can not be classed as a hidden gem, but rather a beautiful gem of nature, with quiet water flowing into the gorgeous emerald pools.

Above Lake Bled, on the way to Slap Savica (Savica Waterfall) lies Suha creek, a small, unknown creek that flows from the mountain peaks to feed Lake Bled. Travelling through in Autumn, I couldn't resist stopping here and spending an hour or two capturing some amazing artworks full of Autumn Colours, Green mossy rocks and emerald water. This is one of Slovenia's hidden gems.

We stumbled across this gorgeous river while exploring the Bloomfield Track, in the Daintree Rainforest. We originally stopped due to the stunning bridge to cross it, but I found this beautiful capture instead.

Where do I begin? This is the second time I came to Fruit Bat Falls, Cape York Peninsula as we had a hard drive failure after our first visit! I kept the same composure as last time and luckily had a beautiful Cape York night to show off this beauty and its colours.

After a gravel road to enter Byfield National Park, and then a short walk from the park, we wandered up the river to encounter this beautiful site known as Upper Stoney Creek. With deadly Stonefish living in the river, it's not the best place to swim, however its beauty shines through here as the green leaves highlight the massive paperbarks flowing over the river.

I spent about 45 minutes capturing this amazing spot and ended up with two amazing images, a vertical composition and this one, a landscape panorama image that shows the meandering creek flowing under the bridge of the track. My eyes are drawn to the beautiful mossy rocks and the large tree with roots stretching down to the water. The warm summer light filtering through the trees above gives vibrance and a delicate touch to the green ferns in this image.

Sunset at Corindi Beach Point was magical this night. We were staying at the Reflections Caravan Park near Coffs Harbour, NSW where it is a short walk to the beach. Amanda convinced me to head out for sunset as the clouds were similar to the previous night where it unexpectedly lit up all around us while we were having dinner. I'm so glad she did as it was one of the most amazing sunsets we'd had in some time. I knew from swimming amongst the rockpools earlier that day that the water was a crystal clear blue so had already decided I wanted that in my artwork. This is the first of 3 images in this Corindi Beach collection as the sunset lasted a long time and changed so much, I couldn't resist continuing to capture three totally different works.

This creek in the beautiful Mossman Gorge near Port Douglas is the absolute embodiment of beauty in nature.
We recently went to this location during the wet season, and this creek is a solid 3km walk through the rainforest to get to. By the time we reached it, I took about 3 photo's then couldn't stand it any more, stripped off and went for a swim! The water was seriously chilly and extremely refreshing.
This is one of my favourite locations from recent shoots.

Taken as the very last light of the day leaves the sky, this image reflects the serenity of one of the worlds most precious regions, Kakadu National Park.
The looming cliffs contrast with the extraordinarily green foliage as the vegetation here thrives even in the middle of the Dry Season.
Getting in here is a 4WD only trek, but well worth it if you can ever get here to have a look.
The National Park manages saltwater crocodiles here to make it safe to swim, you can see their boat in the foreground, and if you have eagle eyes you can spot the huge Salty croc trap on the banks of the river.

Jim Jim Falls, in Kakadu National Park created one of those life changing moments for me, the ones that you look back on in 10 years and can picture clear as a bell.
Walking in, boulder hopping and hoping not to drop all of my camera gear in the icy Outback water, I was running out of time to make it back to a spot I wanted to capture right at the last light of sunset.
I took the extra time to walk into the final pool here and it just absolutely took my breath away, that somewhere that is so changed by the seasons can be so beautiful.
I perched precariously atop a giant boulder, one of many strewn across this ancient landscape by the unstoppable flows of wet season water, and captured this panorama, stitched together from 5 separate images. It was the only way to attempt to capture the scale of this beautiful spot.
I took some time to drink it all in and really appreciate it, before heading back out to my patiently waiting wife.
